its incredibly bittersweet; on one hand, i’ve been working all my life for this point in my life and its all i’ve ever wanted, but on the other hand, i’ve really started only this year to develop a solid group of friends that i’m sad to part with. i’ll miss all the new relationships i’ve made this year. on top of all of that i’m freaking terrified because i’m going to be dropped in new york and there are going to be so many changes coming my way…

it’s good! junior year was so awful in so many ways but things are finally coming together for me this year! i’m super blessed to have such a strong support system and for the first time in a long time, i’m really happy, even if things didn’t turn out the way i’d planned. we’re nearing the time when senior year really starts to get fun and last night i hung out with people that i’d never thought i would hang out with… and i had such a great time. i really love my grade and am going to miss it SO much next year.

ahh its a pretty long story BUT the gist is that for the past few months my date had been talking about hanging a huge cloth banner over his bed that said “dublin” in huge big red letters because he made world team tryouts for ultimate and thats where worlds is. so a few weeks ago we were hanging out and he said something along the lines of “oh i finally put up the banner do you want to see?” and so when we went up to his room to look at the banner but instead of DUBLIN it said “PROM?”. it was pretty cute haha major props. i was also in shock even though i really should have seen it coming considering we were together haha
